My secret weapon to photo shoot ready abs.

Balance baby… Stephen’s family was in town the weekend before my most recent photo shoot with Natural Muscle Magazine and I wanted to be present and enjoy each moment, not stress over abs and eat salt-less food out of a plastic container all weekend.

As I mentioned before, I have been using Isagenix since 2010 and just recently started experimenting with their nutritional cleanse products for my photo shoot prep plan.

Based on the results Stephen and I both had from trying the 9-Day Cleanse, I decided to use my new secret weapon to make the most of the 3 days I had to prep for this shoot. This plan can also be used to prep for a beach day or pool gathering or any other event where you want to present your leanest looking abs!

If you have 9 days, I HIGHLY recommend giving the full 9-Day Cleanse a go, but if you don’t, this is how I made the best use of 3 days:

Day 1

6:30 am: 2 Scoops Isagenix Cleanse for Life

8:30 am: 2 IsaDelights + Natural Accelerator

10:00 am: Small cup of coffee… 1/2 regular and 1/2 decaf

11:00 am: 2 Scoops Isagenix Cleanse for Life

1:00 pm: 1/2 apple + Natural Accelerator

3:00 pm: 2 Scoops Isagenix Cleanse for Life

5:30 pm: 1/2 apple + 2 IsaDelights

8:00 pm: 2 Scoops Isagenix Cleanse for Life

WATER: 1.5 – 2 Gallons of water throughout the day.


Day 2

6:30 am: 2 Scoops Isagenix Cleanse for Life

8:30 am: 2 IsaDelights + Natural Accelerator

10:00 am: Small cup of coffee… 1/2 regular and 1/2 decaf

11:00 am: 2 Scoops Isagenix Cleanse for Life

1:00 pm: 1/2 apple + Natural Accelerator

3:00 pm: 2 Scoops Isagenix Cleanse for Life

5:30 pm: 1/2 apple + 2 IsaDelights

8:00 pm: 2 Scoops Isagenix Cleanse for Life

WATER: 1 Gallon of water throughout the day.


Day 3 (Day of Photo Shoot or Event)

4:30 am: 2 Scoops Isagenix Cleanse for Life

6:30 am: 2 Scoops IsaLean Shake

8:00 am: Small cup of coffee… 1/2 regular and 1/2 decaf

11:00 am: 2 Scoops IsaLean Shake

1:00 pm: Clean Meal containing protein, starches, greens, and good fats… A salad like this is a perfect example. You want to be kind and gentle with your digestive system… don’t slam it with hard-to-digest, heavy or dairy-rich foods. Keep your alcohol intake to a minimum too. You have just spent the past couple days depleting your body of toxins and excess water… your cells are primed to receive and it isn’t a wise idea to load them up with alcohol.

Dinner: Stick with the same guidelines as your clean lunch but add in this delicious and nutritious dessert to replenish your good fats and satisfy any sweet tooth you may have. Did you know that consuming enough saturated fats plays a significant role in sugar cravings? This coconut milk will take care of those saturated fat requirements.

WATER: Shoot for a gallon of water throughout the day.


Day AFTER…

I like to start my day off with 2 Scoops IsaLean Shake and a raw beet and move onto my regular nutrition of IsaLean shakes and clean eating.
