These recipes were written for the use of Isagenix, which is what I personally use and recommend, so they only use vanilla and chocolate for flavors, but if you have a favorite protein powder you prefer, go for it.

I recommend organic whole foods as much as possible, but when that isn’t possible, or just not happening, what is the next best option? I can honestly say that the Isagenix shakes have served me well since I started using them in 2010 and I am still amazed at my results and energy.

If you are not using IsaLean, make sure you are adding carbs and fat to your shakes if you are using them as a meal replacement. They need to represent a “meal”. Otherwise, you may find yourself drinking a shake and hungry for more.

Chocolate Coconut Dream

  • 10 oz. purified water
  • 2 scoops chocolate IsaLean Shake
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • ½ cup spinach (you won’t be able to taste this, trust me!)

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup

  • 10 oz. purified water
  • 2 scoops chocolate IsaLean Shake
  • 1 Tbsp peanut butter (organic)

Orange Creamsicle Energy Boost

  • 8 oz. purified water
  • 2 scoops vanilla IsaLean Shake
  • 1 scoop AMPED in Orange (or ½ stick)

Sassy Classy Strawberry

  • 2 scoops (or 1 packet)
  • 2 scoops vanilla IsaLean Shake
  • 1 scoop (or 1 packet) IsaFruits
  • 8 oz. water
  • Handful of ice
  • ½ cup fresh strawberries
  • 1 strawberry for garnish

IsaLean Chai Express

  • 2 scoops vanilla IsaLean Shake
  • 8 ounces purified water
  • 1 handful ice
  • 1 ½cups chilled brewed chai tea
  • ½ of a banana
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • Optional (1 tsp honey)

Strawberry Slimmer

  • 2 scoops vanilla IsaLean Shake
  • 8 ounces purified water
  • 1 handful ice
  • 1 scoop IsaFruits
  • ½ cup strawberries
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

Harvest Apple Pie Shake

  • 2 scoops vanilla IsaLean Shake
  • 8 oz. water
  • Ice
  • 1 whole organic apple (cored, not peeled)
  • Dash or two of cinnamon

Cherry Chocolate Shake

  • 2 scoops chocolate IsaLean Shake
  • 8 oz. purified water
  • Ice cubes (desired amount)
  • 6 organic cherries
  • Blend well and serve cold

Orange Energizer

Peppermint Patty Shake

  • 8 oz. crushed ice and water
  • 2 scoops chocolate IsaLean Shake
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp peppermint extract

Piña Colada Shake

  • 2 scoops vanilla IsaLean Shake
  • ¼ cup fresh or frozen pineapple
  • ¼ tsp coconut extract
  • 8 oz. purified water

Berry Blast – Kid Friendly

  • 8-10 oz. organic orange juice
  • ½ banana
  • 1 cup frozen berry medley (strawberry, blueberry & raspberry)
  • 1 scoop IsaFruits
  • 1 scoop Isagenix Greens!

Isa-OJ – Kid Friendly

  • 8 – 10 oz. organic orange juice
  • 2 scoops vanilla IsaLean Shake
  • 1 squeeze of organic honey
  • Ice (desired amount)

Bubblegum Shake – Kid Friendly

Twin Power Super Shake

  • 8 oz. unsweetened organic rice drink
  • 2 scoops chocolate IsaLean Shake
  • 1 scoop IsaPro
  • 1 scoop IsaFruits
  • ½ cup organic strawberries
  • Ice (desired amount)

Rip Roarin’ Protein Shake

  • 2 scoops chocolate IsaLean Shake
  • 1 tsp almond butter
  • 4 ounces almond milk
  • 4 ounces purified water
  • 2 ice cubes

Egg Nog Delight

  • 2 scoops vanilla IsaLean Shake
  • ½ of a banana
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 4 oz. purified water
  • 4 oz. crushed ice

Tastes like “cake batter” shake, or just order the Birthday Cake IsaLean Flavor:

  • 2 scoops vanilla Isalean Shake
  • ½ cup frozen mango
  • 1 tsp unrefined coconut oil
  • 1 tsp almond butter

Add some ice cubes and blend until creamy and smooth – I usually blend about 2-3 times without the top on to add volume and fluffiness.

Rockin’ Pumpkin Protein Shake

  • 10 small ice cubes
  • 1 cup cold water
  • ¼ – ½ cup canned pumpkin puree
  • cinnamon or liquid cinnamon flavor (to taste)
  • pumpkin pie spice (to taste)
  • 1 scoop vanilla IsaPro powder
  • 1 scoop vanilla IsaLean Shake
  • Or 2 scoops of vanilla IsaLean Shake

Isa-Blizzard

Key Lime Pie Shake

  • 8 oz. crushed ice and water
  • 2 scoops vanilla IsaLean Shake
  • ½ stick AMPED in Lemon Lime
  • 1 sheet honey graham crackers, place on the bottom

The Cozmo Special (as seen on the cover)

This shake sounds crazy but it tastes delicious, has the consistency of pudding, and packs a HUGE nutritional punch.

  • 8 oz. crushed ice and water
  • 2 scoops vanilla or chocolate IsaLean Shake
  • 1/4 cup raw or frozen beets
  • 1/4 cup frozen spinach or kale
  • 1/4 cup frozen berries
  • 1/2 avocado

My favorite blenders include the Magic Bullet  and the Ninja. Blend until shake consistency. I love to make mine so thick and creamy that I have to eat it with a spoon. Yum!

Please note IsaPro and IsaLean contain no artificial sweeteners and provide the creamy consistency in shakes. This is an excellent gluten free shake and a great choice for anyone who is lactose intolerant.
