- 1 (12 ounce) container of plain/original hummus
- 1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin puree
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp ground allspice
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper*
- 1/4 tsp paprika*
- 1/4 tsp cumin*
- salt to taste
* if desired for an extra kick
Place the container of hummus into food processor, add pumpkin puree, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, cayenne pepper*, paprika*, and cumin*. Cover and puree again until smooth. Season to taste with salt.
Serve with warmed pitas or your favorite fresh, cut veggies.
